Helping you heal yourself

Confidence Caravan

confidenceConfidence Caravan is a self-empowerment group for women. In the magic caravan, you drive your own vehicle toward your own destination, yet we travel together. Tuning into our inner knowing and trusting it to take us on the right road. Life coach Miriam Klamkin provides thought-provoking material and confidence-building techniques. You bring your fabulous, limitless self, and as a group we share support, inspiration, and fun!

This session is about Making Friends With Fear.  Our society doesn’t deal well with fear.  We’re programmed to want to stay safe at all costs, to run away FAST whenever we encounter anything that causes us the least little bit of apprehension.  It’s an instinctive reaction that the culture heartily endorses, and those instincts don’t discriminate between change that threatens us and change that stretches and empowers us.  The minute that “Unknown!” button is pushed, our genetic code and our training join forces to warn us off in no uncertain terms.

But there are other options besides “fight or flight”.  What if it could be safe to move TOWARD the fear, dancing with it, back a little, forward a little, gradually opening to a greater, more powerful version of yourself?

In this session, we will GENTLY tease out the strands of our fears, respecting their need to protect us and shield our privacy, and discover how to calm our nerves at those times when we want to be brave.  You’ll try some exercises that will reveal you to yourself and help you come to terms with your fear.  There will also be time for sharing, mutual support and en-courage-ment.

Miriam Klamkin, life coach, astrologer, and teacher, has supported and inspired many people on their paths to inner peace and inner knowing.
